ABOUT OLIS
What is Olis?
An app for saving the places you have been — where you ate, where you stayed, what you went to see — giving each one a rating and a few tags, and sharing them with the friends.
Is Olis free?
Yes — Olis is free to download and use.
Who can see what I save?
Only the friends you have accepted. There is no public feed and no reviews from strangers, and nothing is shared until someone accepts your request.
Which devices does it work on?
Currently only available on the iOS platform. Android and computer versions will come in the future.
FRIENDS
What is an Olis ID?
Your handle on Olis, and the only thing you need to share to be added as a friend. Find it under Profile → Olis ID; tapping it copies it.
How do I add a friend?
Choose Add Friend and enter their Olis ID, then send the request.
Someone is bothering me. Can I block them?
Yes. A blocked person is removed from your friends, cannot send you requests, and cannot see your saved list. They are not told.
How do I report a problem or some content?
In the app, choose Send us message and pick Wish list, Report problem, or Something else. You can also email us.
YOUR ACCOUNT
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete Account. Your profile is removed from Olis straight away. We keep a copy for 90 days in case you change your mind, then it is deleted permanently.
I deleted my account by mistake.
Email us within 90 days, from the address the account was registered to. Your saved places come back — your friend list and account activity do not.
SAVING AND REWARDS
Is there a limit to how many places I can save?
Every account starts with room for 80 places, and the limit grows as you use Olis. Every 20 places you save earns 5 more, every 10 places you rate earns 3 more, and confirming your email address adds 5.
How do I rate a place?
Once you have been, give it a score and choose up to four tags that describe it. That is what you and your friends see.
